What does this have to do with Youtube?This is a typical pnatet battle, where some little company is trying to cause enough of a hassle for Microsoft to buy them out, which it can do from petty cash, or from this week's sales of Word. The only reason they haven't is because they don't want to cause a precedent.It'll drag through court for years, until either the little guy gives up or Microsoft buys them out.And by the way, this isn't about copyright infringement, it's a pnatet case, similar but completely different. It involves the underlying basis of Word, not just making a copy of somebody's music. And in any event, YouTube has been fairly rigorous about enforcing copyright in the last few years. Its lawyers parried and stalled the best antitrust prosecutors at the U.S. Department of Justice and the European Commission for years. It could win the appeal, settle with i4i, or even buy out the company, which was founded in 1994 and has 30 employees. 3. I was under the impression that when Youtube finds copyrighted videos, they pull them. Is that incorrect?
